It is often asked if constant velocity extrusion with a slow speed such as 1 [mm / s] can be performed. For proof of theory, the 1.5 [mm / s] extrusion example is listed. The extrusion material for building materials has a speed of about 10 mm / s, and the extrusion material for industrial use is about 1 mm / s.
The extrusion time is 10 times different. 50 seconds for one and 500 seconds for the other. Low speed extrusion has the advantage of constant velocity extrusion.

RcdWin Automation has three functions: stand-up automation, ram-torque equation automation, and constant-speed automation. Automation improves the quality of the product and makes it easier for workers. Automation is not dangerous.
It does not runaway like the Boeing 737MAX stall arrester.
The reason is that all automation sets the tolerance of automation. It is designed not to automate beyond tolerance.
The constant velocity extrusion parameters of RcdWin are now multilingual. The reason is that with the remote control software TeamViewer, you can install RcdWin on PCs in factories around the world without going to the factory.
In Korea, extrusion workers can understand English.
However, extrusion workers in all countries may not understand English. The extrusion control EM and the extrusion data analysis EDA are already multilingual compatible. Now, I made resource files in English, Japanese, Chinese and Korean.

RcdWin exchanges equipment data with the interface PLC on the Ethernet LAN. Added a screen to enter data such as scale value, PLC IP address, port etc.

RCDigital remotely installs the program and adjusts program parameters. The factory or a specialized equipment remodeling company performs construction for transmitting and receiving data between the interface PLC and the equipment machine.

In January in South Korea, we did constant speed extrusion of aluminum. The aluminum extruder is made in USA of 3150 tons.
As for the previous 1,800 tons as well as the current 3150 tons, the parameters of the constant velocity extrusion program RcdWin hardly changed.
The company in Korea is not for building materials, but a company that produces extruded materials for industrial use.
A Japanese company producing industrial extruded materials have used the constant speed program RcdWin for more than 20 years. A Korean company also produced the same extruded material.
Constant velocity extrusion was possible with 2 holes of a circular pipe by pressure limitation of function of RcdWin. This is also well produced in Japan. In the story of Korea's extrusion workers, it seems to be extrusion with a high degree of difficulty. Constant velocity extrusion of circular tube pipe 2 holes (click here).
This means that RcdWin can automate the technology of advanced extrusion workers. It is improvement of quality and productivity by the program.
There are two reasons why RcdWin is popular in Korea. It is that it is compatible with industrial use where such recent demand has increased and that constant speed extrusion can be done by both speed sensor and position sensor.
Other software companies and machine makers seem to be unable to extrude at the same speed with position sensors. However, Korean factories use position sensors.
Korea's constant speed extrusion using position sensors may all be RcdWin.
In the speed setting of constant speed extrusion introduced last year, [set in machine] was not popular among workers. For that reason, we made it possible to set the speed automatically. Execution of [+1 button] will increase the speed by 0.1[mm / s].Automatic speed setting. (click here).
The speed setting of the 3150 ton extruder became the touch panel input. RcdWin receives the speed setting on the network from the PLC. From now on, this type may increase.
Speed error of constant speed specification was ± 0.1 [mm / s]. The average error during constant speed at completion of extrusion was often -0.07 [mm / s], so there was no problem.

The spectrum analysis of ram speed data was made possible.
In the extrusion search program RcdWinMoni, extrusion data displayed on the screen is converted to a CSV file (a new function of RcdWinMoni).

Recently, I updated the pamphlet because I often do constant-velocity extrusion.
The parameters of the program were almost automated according to the customer's request.
Because I made it possible to download the pamphlet, please see the people of the factory of interest.
In the case of China and Korea, I also included things that were not so demanding in Japan.
